Download Kerveros
Current version v1.2.0 (June 12, 2026) — see what changed. Every download starts a 14-day free trial with full features, no card required. After the trial, read access stays available so you never lose your data.
Kerveros isn’t code-signed by Apple or Microsoft, so macOS and Windows ask you to confirm the first launch. You do it once; the steps for each system are below.
macOS
Universal binary (Apple Silicon + Intel), macOS 11 or later.
First launch: drag Kerveros to Applications and open it. When macOS says it can’t open the app, close the message. Then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security and click Open Anyway next to Kerveros (the button shows for about an hour after you tried to open it), and confirm with your password. After that it opens like any other app.
If macOS says Kerveros “is damaged and can’t be opened” instead, clear the download flag once in Terminal and open it again:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Kerveros.app
Windows
Windows 10/11, x64 installer.
First launch: when SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway, and the installer starts.
Linux
x64 AppImage — no install step, works on any modern distribution.
Download for Linux (.AppImage)
First launch: in the folder you saved it to, make it executable and run it:
chmod +x Kerveros_linux.AppImage
./Kerveros_linux.AppImage
Updates
Kerveros checks for new versions in the background and installs an update only after its signature checks out against the release key built into the app.
